Women Empowerment Through Digital Literacy and Technology
Abstract
Women’s empowerment is increasingly linked to digital literacy and technology access, offering pathways to economic independence, education, and social inclusion. However, significant challenges persist, including the gender digital divide, socio-cultural barriers, limited infrastructure, and skill gaps. This paper examines how digital tools empower women while highlighting obstacles such as affordability, safety concerns, and resistance to change. Through case studies and data analysis, it explores strategies to bridge gaps, emphasizing inclusive policies, community-driven programs, and partnerships. The findings underscore that overcoming these challenges can unlock sustainable development by enhancing women’s agency and participation in the digital economy.
