Developed India @ 2047 – An Initiative to Transform the Nation
Abstract
As India celebrates the 100th anniversary of its independence in 2047, the vision of a “Developed India” represents a monumental aspiration—one that extends beyond economic progress to embrace holistic national transformation. The “Developed India @ 2047” initiative, inspired by the call of Amrit Kaal, aims to position India as a global leader in innovation, inclusivity, and sustainability. This paper explores the multiple dimensions of this vision—economic, social, technological, environmental, and ethical—highlighting the policies, challenges, and transformative potential that can shape the nation’s destiny by 2047. It also reflects upon the role of education, governance, and cultural integrity in achieving a self-reliant, equitable, and empowered India.
